Out for a ride with dad

Our Sew Close for Comfort Ring Slings have many features including:

One Size Fits Most
It seems that there are very few people that these "one-size fits most" slings won't fit. From a small framed woman who is 5 feet tall to a fairly burly man who is 6 feet tall we have yet to come across a person that the Sew Close for Comfort sling didn't fit like a glove. If you are worried that our slings will not fit you properly please e-mail us and we will tell you how to measure yourself so we can make a custom sling just for your frame (this may limit your fabric options).

Anatomy 101

one
Non-padded rails for maximum adjustability.

~ The sling feels less bulky.
~ One sling will fit a greater amount of caregivers eliminating the need to buy many slings for one family.
~ Unpadded rails also allow for your sling to be used as a toddler leash.
~ The unpadded rails also make it easier to fold and store the sling.
2
A *lightly* padded shoulder
~ The shoulder is lightly padded so it does not feel bulky. A padded shoulder ensures a proper fit over the shoulder so the sling can't bunch up and apply pressure on the shoulder. The proper fit of a sling over the shoulder area is key for the wearers comfort and good shoulder and back health.
3
A sewn in pocket
~ The pocket is large enough to hold a cloth diaper, your keys, wallet and cell phone (or anything else you would like to carry that is of a similar size).
~ It can be used to store all your things and actually allow you to be truly "hands free".
~ The way the pocket is sewn also ensures that the "right side" of the fabric shows when the sling is laced.
~ Each rail is easily adjusted independently unlike the rails of some other slings with "closed tails".
~ The sling can be folded right into this pocket for easy storage when not in use.
4
Extra wide fabric used
~ The part of the sling that your child will sit or lay in is large when compared to many commercially available slings.
~ The extra width allows for a more comfortable ride for the child and makes it easier for the caregiver to comfortably place the child in the sling.
~ The extra large pouch created by this fabric is great for discreet nursing as the sling can be pulled right up and over the breast in most cases.

In addition:
~ As with all our carriers, these slings are machine washable for easy clean up.
~ The slings can be worn from birth to 35 lbs.
~ There are no snaps or  buckles to fight with and no material between you and your baby. When placing the child in your carrier let your intuition be your guide.
~ Your child does not hang in a sling, as children do in some popular commercially available carriers, they sit or lay down instead. Eliminating the potential of their developing joints being affected by having to support the entire weight of their bodies .
~ We use sling rings purchased from www.slingrings.com. These rings are made, specifically for slings, from nylon and are individually tested for 250 lbs they also have to pass an impact test before they are shipped. Please visit their web site for further details about the rings.

Ring slings can be worn in 5 different positions.
